Windows 98SE is an upgraded version of the original Windows 98 operating
system. The “SE” stands for “Second Edition”. Windows 98 SE is the first Windows version to offer support for
AGP video cards, USB drivers and support for Internet connection
sharing. Internet Explorer continued to be integrated into the Windows
Explorer interface (a feature which was called Active Desktop). It was
also the first version of Windows to begin support for DVD drives. |
